I did the KWs two years ago and they were total suck a$$. They were sloppy as hell.

I'm pretty happy with my KW V2's at the moment, moreso than the T1R coils I had before. They're a lot smoother riding than the T1R's. I do remember reading about your experience with the KW coils in a thread awhile back, but took a chance on them anyways. Perhaps they addressed the problems from before?

Holy crap. I can still remember what they were like 2 1/2 yrs later. Hope they changed them also. If their working for you, then good deal.

I was thinking about getting Tein Basic kit for drop + handling (probably should install a strut bar first though). A couple folks mentioned Tein in passing, but are there more detailed opinions out there?

Quick update: I used Autohaus Motorsports in City of Industry, CA for my Tein Super Street installations.

I recommend both Autohaus and the Tein kit all the way. The former offers great customer service, solid work, and (most importantly) competitive prices. The latter provides great drop, traction and handling. Jericho, who put in the kit, set my damper to medium, which means I can still feel the road without sacrificing too much comfort.

While I bombed the 10-W and then the PCH yesterday in the pouring rain around 1AM, I had a great time. Hit a couple of hydroplanes but had absolutely no problem recovering.

Note: 1AM + I-10 + Kaskade + BCD Tofu House = awesome night

Where is the best place to buy Skunk2 coilovers? Their website lists for like $1039 then + shipping. JHPusa lists $1,300 kinda weird. Please help. Thank you.
