AMR Engineering Statement *READ*

So some of you may remember the whole ordeal awhile back with a "AMR represenitive" and a coilover group buy that was being set up. I spoke with Andy from AMR today and did a little investigating. Anywho here is a statement from Andy that I told him I would post up.

FitFreak.net Members,

Good afternoon, my name is Andy “The Real” Andy of AMR Engineering. I was informed by a customer of mine this evening about a thread that he had found on here which was rather negtive. I was simply shocked, and even though it did not change his decision at all it truly disturbed me. I asked him to link me to the thread because I have never posted on this message board, especially under the name Andy@AMR. I will admit, that on some message boards I do use that name, but it was not me who had posted under that name, nor was the e-mail address it was registered under mine. To make a long story short, the user “putang” has done this before, and has not only registered on other sites pretending to be me, but he has simply copy and pasted responces from threads and edited them. He has been banned on website such as honda-tech.com, mr2.com, sixthsphere.com, tsxclub.com, as well as quite a few others. TSXclub was the first time he had registered under AMR Engineering, and the owner of the site traced him down via ip address. I have been keeping a log of all the IP addresses he has been using througout this entire ordeal. He has been harassing me and my company for almost 2 years now, and he was never a customer of ours. I am very sorry that you all had to go through this, and experience such a thing. Even though he has tried to tarnish our name it has simply not worked, people always find that we are the real deal, and that we are completely the opposite of what he tried to portray. This all started on sixthsphere.com and you can all contact the site owner if you would like to get the history of this user. On top o that, you will find that he quoted the members on here $1800 for a fit coilover system that is not even posted on our website. Even on our distributor price list, it is not listed for that price, nor is it even listed!! We have shown our credentials to the moderator of this forum, and proven our case 100 percent. Please contact us directly if you would like to inquire about our Fit coilovers in development. Someone on here atleast took the time to place a phone call, and talk to the real me. He never stated anything negative about his experience, nor will he ever. Again, I am sorry to all the memers who got caught up in all this, and I assure you we strive to provide the best products we can.

Thank you to the Fitfreak.net team and members!

Sincerely,

Andy

AMR Engineering

maybe we should start to make more fake group buys, then send them to vendors so they make parts for our cars.

they can set them up any way youd like. im not aware of anyone thats tracking them, but i have driven a fit with them, among other cars. and they feel great, they are plenty track worthy.
