skunk2 vs t1r

well if it makes you feel any better i dont regret buying the Pro C's one bit. Plus i only paid $1,170 shipped but i found a set a little cheaper maybe 10-20 dollars or so for another member who msg'd me about where i got mine from.. so when i did a search for him i ran across a cheaper set. i mean in all honesty you cant go wrong with them especially for that cheap.

Yup! But i've find some adjust top plate in the aftermarket.
If i order the skunk2, i'll probbly take a chance and try to fit it.
I want to know if the type of the shock (Mcpherson(sorry for the error))
have the same bolt pattern to car to car.

D2 aluminium camber plates provide quick and easy adjustment. Designed for use with the D2 coilover. These camber plates are also compatible with other suspension systems which feature a spring with 65mm internal diameter.

I dont know if it can fit on the skunk2 shock.
Or, ground control make universal cambr plate too.

there is a member here on the forum, unfitone, and he uses d2's. has over 40k on them and they are doing great. he also says that they CAME with camber adjustment for the front.

I just picked up some T1Rs B52 at a great price was between that and the skunks. But i went with the T1r because of the price differance. I will let u know about the ride once i get them in and installed. but the car i had before the fit a evo was one of the stiffest rides but i did not mind it i hope the T1R are good coils

It is. Loosen the top and lower strut bolts, kick the top in and tighten the hell out of them.
Per the pic posted below me, notice the top hole on the front assembly is oblonged? Its for adjustment.
Pretty sure you cant run camber plates on the Fit. The way the strut is designed its not possible.
You need camber bolts or widened strut holes.

You can order from Skunk, softer spring rates which I strongly recommend for the street. They come with 8k/6k. Skunk has 6k for the front, but nothing softer for the rear. I think ideally the combo of 5.5k frt and 4.5k rear would be the ticket but I can only wish.

i've had my pro-cs for about...... 1-2 weeks so far and I'm still working out the kinks to how it rides and stuff. Unfortunately it took me this long because i work and barely have time to fix/tune it properly in one day and now that my cars in the shop getting repaired wow that put it on a longer halt.
