D2 Coilovers
#61
I was having a little trouble too with the sway bar making some noises when doind a full turn...it was rubbing with the axle..so what I did was took out both front coils, and then the sway bar can go up and down..i put it down and the tie rod that comes with the coilovers is what pushes the sway bar down when u putt it at the right hieght

So i'm sorry but I am a little confused with what you are saying. So the sway bar needs to be lower to clear the axles? So to do that I need to put the tie rods that are on the coilover lower on the threads? Any more clarification would be great. Sorry for being a noob.

I just put my D2's on over the weekend and am waiting till tomorrow to get an alignment. Am i going to need a camber kit? Also did you guys have any trouble with the toe? Just want more info for when i talk to the shop doing the alignment. Anything you guys think i should tell em?

I didn't need a camber kit. I think it just depends if you want crazy negative camber. They were able to get -1.8 in the fronts but a more tuner friendly shop may be able to get more. As far as toe I just had them set it to zero and they did.

I am in need of lowering my front a little bit.. But i cannot figure out how without taking the 2 bolts out and removing it all. Is that the only way?
Also the guys who did my alignment could only camber the front to -1.5 which i figure will be fine.
