20,000 miles + springs?
So I finally picked up (or received) my Progress springs. I'm just concerned about how many miles I have, especially on Massachusetts roads. Should I replace shocks/struts first, or would I be OK for a while? I have read that after 20,000 miles or so with aftermarket springs the shocks/struts start to degrade. I'm a noob at mods, this is why I traded my Si and got the Fit, something I could afford more and have fun with. Any help would be great so I can get these suckers on!

Some guys have had their springs on for over 35000 miles and haven't noticed any problems, but I plan on upgrading to some coilovers somewhere between now and two years from now(I put my progress springs on 3 weeks ago).
Saving $20/paycheck will pay off a nice set of springs in a year and a half! :-D

I'm running Eibachs right now and I think I've had them for close to 20k miles. My right side is sagging now so I'm thinking I blew the shocks. I have 35k on my Fit so this sucks. I need to replace with Coilovers or wait for a good pair of shocks to come out.

yah, should be fine. just check for leaks once in a while when you
do your tire rotation. also any creaking sounds from the corner
could mean your strut/shock is shot.
make sure you check the swaybar bushing's lube first though cause
the noise could be from that too (front).
