HKS Coilovers *Pics*

Just got done installing HKS Hypermax coilovers. I love them!

Here is some of its features:
Hiper Linear Piston – Linear progression piston adjusts oil passages for precise stroke management resulting in smoother valve movements. As piston speed increases, dampening rate linearly increases.
- Strengthened rubber upper mounts – enhanced durability
- Monotube design
- Shock-body length adjustable (most applications)
- 65mm diameter springs – Cold wound and manufactured in-house at HKS to ensure quality and consistency
- Stainless lock nut & ride height adjuster – feature anti-rust & corrosion characteristics for enhanced durability.
- 30-way adjustable dampening
- Hard chrome-plated cylinder shaft
- Non-electrolysis Nickel plated shock bodies provide durability in severe weather conditions.
- Pillowball upper mounts optional on certain applications
- Dustboots standard
- 1 year limited warranty

They retail for $1700, but you can get them for the low, low price of $1500 on some online stores.

Thanks for the comments. And sorry but I'm not a dude ^^
No they do not come with Upper pillow ball mounts. I bought them for about 1500 dollars and it was well worth it. If your looking for quality, I highly recommend.

As far as Rubbing...The after pics are taken with a new pair of advans I just got. I put them on to see how they would fit. No modification are needed for the rear but the front is rubbing the fender. I will either have to buy smaller tires, do fender modificaion, or raise the car....and I don't want to raise it. The front of the car can actually be lowered even more. With the stock wheels, the front tucks a little bit.

Did you purchase them locally? I was looking at those a couple months ago.

No. I bought them from advance speed in cali. They said it would have to be special ordered and would take 3 weeks. I was bummed until I recieved a tracking number a couple days later. It only took 1 wk to ship : )

The stance looks good. How stiff does it ride now? It must be fun taking corners.

Right now I have it a factory settings. It rides just a bit softer than the stock suspension. I was considering making it stiffer. Although I drive about 40mins to work everyday I probably will keep it soft to enjoy my ride.
