Regular cleaning and adjusting rear drums?
A friend of mine (old school mechanic) told me that the rear drum needs to be cleaned every 6 months. That involve open the rear drum (take the wheel off and remove the drum cover) and flush inside the drum brake with water and let it air dry.
I know we don't have to do that with disc brake, is it necessary to do that for drum brakes? What about adjusting the rear drums?
