a spring DIY?
I know this is lame......but I have never changed springs before, and all this axle popping is making me "uneasy"... so I was wandering if anyone has any tips that I should be watching out when change the front springs.
I did the sway bar in the back, and it was pita, but my fit is my DD, and because of work, I really can't afford to not have a car for more then couple hours, so I would really not to pop my axles out....XD
anyways, hope someone can give me some tips. Thanks! oh, I will be swapping in some skunk love ^____~ can't wait for autox to get started here

honestly, it's not that safe to do at home. For a DIY, it can be done, but being a licensed Automotive mechanics, i HIGHLY recommend doing them either at a shop or with PROPER tools. It's just too dangerous.

wow, how did I missed that? XD thanks for the help!
I have another question
should I do an alianmet right after the spring change? or should I let it settle for couple days first? I have heard both ways....so I don't know where way to go....

there is some really great info in this thread-

-which is a bunch of threads below yours in the forum...
There is lots of info out there (errr... in here I mean) that can point you in the right direction, so try to do a more thorough search.
good luck ....
