BTW, J's Racing rear strut tower bar and all other brands that bolt to the rear shocks do absolutely NOTHING because they aren't grabing a hold of anything solid. The shocks move around in their rubber mounts while driving around, all these would do is hold the top of the shocks together wich will do nothing at all with the type of rear suspension that we have.

Cusco's rear strut bar actually bolts to a solid point on the car's body and the difference is definitely noticeable. My car's rear end wobbled at the limit on the track without it. After adding this bar the rear end tracked a lot better and dindn't bounce around like it did without the bar. Later on I added the Progress rear swaybar and we all know how good that bar is, but don't knock on the rear Cusco Bar if you've never driven you card HARD with or without it.

with daily driving, does the cusco front and rear strut bars have a comfortable ride?

nttdemented, other than cusco wut other brands actually bolt to something solid?

If I'm not mistaken the DME bars are identical to the Cuscos. There's also the "Miracle X-Bar" wich is used on the N1 K20 Fit. Thats also a really good bar for our cars. These are the only truly functional bars I've seen for the rear end of our cars. It's already been said that the C-Pillar bars do little to help the rigidity as the cross bar that goes across our body's ceiling in that spot is already high tengstile steel.

BTW, you won't feel much difference during daily driving conditions with any of these bars. You WILL notice a huge difference in all conditions with the Progress Rear Swaybar though. Strut bars and any other type of rigidity enhancers are really only felt when you're pushing your car to its limits.

nnnn... no. depends on application.

with the cusco front tower on the FitS i could feel the difference
the moment i backed out of the driveway and down the street.
the increase in rigidity is night/day. ive done enough car mods
on different cars that i know wat im looking for.

if you were to put a stb on my cooper-s that's pretty much worthless
unless you take it to the limits. that's a car where you lift the front
tire the rear tire also raises off the ground. that's what you call a
factory built rigid chassis. not the case with the Fit's.

id like to also add that noticing a huge difference does not necessarily
mean improvement in handling (ie rear swaybar). on my car running DF210's
i dont feel the need for a rear swaybar.

I agree with you, yes do do notice a difference when going over speed bumps and such. I was just refering to a difference handling wise

And as for the cooper-s lifting the rear tire off the ground when you life the front side of the car its all about suspension travel there more than rigidity. After I installed my rear sway bar I no longer have to jack both ends of the car, just raise the front. This is because the rear swaybar now pushes that side's tire up when the other side starts getting compressed as you jack the car up.

The Cooper-S either has a pretty beefy rear sway-bar or shorter shocks, this will cause what you are talking about. Just felt I need to clarify because the Fit actually has a very rigid chassi design as evidenced in one of those "Best Motoring" videos (I think) where they test drive the Spoon Fit and they were talking on how Honda designed the chassi of the car to be very rigid.
