If your shock absorbers fail early, it will probably be caused by the shorter springs (at least that will be Honda's position), and my bet is that any suspension related failure will not be covered by warranty. If your transmission blows up or your stereo quits, the springs won't affect warranty coverage.

Nonsense. B.S. The modification can only void the warranty on a failed part or failed system if the modification can be proved to be the cause of the failure of the part or system. This has been discussed to death on the forums.

I had my owner's manual handy and there are 2 pages that talk about "modifying your vehicle" (138 and 139). There's nothing in these pages that emphatically state non-Honda/modified parts will void the warranty, but as mentioned above, if it's proven that the failure is due to the modified part, you're assed out.

Agreed- I can't remember the full name of the law that covers this, but part of the title has the words "Magnussen Act". I'll leave it up to redrumm to use the "search" function to find it.

Don't get your Honda serviced by redrumm's dealership though.

I hoped that you would see the intended humor- your past posts suggested that you wouldn't take offense. Thanks!
