HELP NEEDED! driveshaft...
Just tried to install to my new coilovers and driveshaft went out. Did a search, I tried the recommended twist and push for 1hr but no luck so far.
Are there any other options I should try?
I dont really want to cut the rubber at this moment or at all.
Thanks in advance.

keep trying! it take a while. it took me and my lil brother 1.5 hours to get the drivers side back in. try putting a jack under the lower control arm and lifting it until it's parallel, then try it again.

This happened to me too he he... oops! I didn't want people to know this... but to help a fellow Fitfreaker I guess it is worth it.
Anyway, I wrestled with it for hours and was convinced I screwed it up for good. I finally managed to get it back in my lifting the whole assembly up much much higher that I was before and ensuring it was prefectly straight. The best position is to straddle brace it with your both your knee's, lift it up and push in and out softly while twisting slowly (sound like something else I like to do!).
Don't Cut the Rubber!! Just cut the banding!!!
I also removed the boot and re-packed the joint. I used hose clamps on the boot until I got a banding kit, if you do this you need to ensure the clamp screws are opposite of eachother so you can minimize the eccentric weight until you get it fixed.

Thanks for the advice guys.
Update: I did manage to get the axle back in, however I had to cut the band off. I don't know how many hours I tried to push the bloody thing in but it wouldn't just go in. As I took the axle out, I found out one of the bearings where off.
I will try to take some photos soon of the new ride dumped.
Its on tein super compacts
Cheers

Lesson learned! I had a hard time putting that sucker back together too after two agonizing hours of sweating, pissing, cursing and a couple of beers...LOL. I also put a circular hose clamp on the boot.
I feel bad about the axle, it's not originally the same anymore!

this really is a design flaw that honda needs to be aware of. i think every person i know with this car that has done suspension work has had this problem. i got my driveshaft back in after a few hours of screwing around with it but i accidentally ripped the rubber boot. its a big problem that i hope they have addressed in the 08 models. probably not though
