Eibach Pro Kit problems

Hey, all you Eibach fans -- I got a few problems and could use your assistance.

I installed the Eiback Pro Kit on my 2007 Fit and the ride sucks! Have you ever seen a car where you know the guy cut the springs cuz it rocks, front to back, when it hits a bump? Well, that's how my car rides now. It's like the spring rates are different, front to back. Also, the springs in the rear make a 'sproing' sound when I drive over something like a speedbump, one wheel at a time.

So, here's what I'm wondering--should I be able to read the stamped 'Eibach' on the side of the springs when installed? What's the top and bottom of the springs? Should the tightly wound, dead coils in the rear be at the top or bottom?

Help!!

the eibach should be rightside up, thats all. The fits wheelbase is small so there is alot of rocking front to back. as far as the noise, i know the tein and the tanabe come with a rubberthat wraps around the coil to prevent the noise. Im sure you can make your own from stuff at autozone.

Just make sure the writing on the Eibachs are right side up when you installed them. JUST INCASE you missed that. My Eibach springs squeak sometimes. I think its cause of that rubber hose around the rear springs.

did you cut the bump stops in half? that could be your problem for the bouncy ride

Thanks for the quick replies.

The rear springs came with a clear plastic piece wrapped around 3 of the coils - I assumed for noise.

I did cut 30mm from all of the bump stops per Eibach's instructions - mistake??

Sounds like the Eibach's accentuate the bounce because of the short wheelbase, but I didn't have that problem with my 2006 Scion XA...
