Rear Anti-Sway bar noise

Rear Anti-Sway bar noise
I noticed that the rear of my car was making some noise as though something was tapping my spring or the spring was loose or something to that effect.
I looked things over and checked all the bolts to make sure everything was tight and installed correctly and it was. I then took the drivers side spring out to make sure that it was sitting properly and I noticed that the bolt tops from the sway bar had worn through the rubber padding for the spring.
My initial thought is to go get a small piece of rubber and place it in between, but perhaps someone has a better idea.
Anyone use different bolts that what came with the bar (progress auto)?
Anyone else have similar issues?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. If nothing else seems better I will just try with a piece of rubber this afternoon and see how well that works out.

Ok.
SOOOOOO...
I feel dumb. It was the bolt on the bottom of the shock. It wasn't completely tight. Everything is fine now.
hah.
It doesn't matter that the bolts from the bar and spring are touching a little. that wasn't it at all.
Any clunking noises from the rear are probably loose hardware and that is exactly what it was.
Lesson learned.
