Tanabe Gf210s photos, questions, answers

My goodness, I have just installed a set of Tanabe NF 210 and that's a drop of just 20mm or so on the front and I have rubbing on the front fender going over average bumps on the road. They would rub like hell if I had Tanabe DF 210 installed.
I'm running on Good Year Eagle F1 205\50\16 tires and these are my 16" wheels.

Worst scenario would be to probably get a reputable machine shop to remove 5mm off the flange behond the wheels itself.

What is the specs of your wheels (width & offset)?

Is this usually what people do and how safe is it if they are machined by pros?

If the machinist knows what he is doing, reducing the offset by just 5mm should be safe. Please understand that you are doing this at your own risk and no guarantees are being made by this post.

has anyone ever used those urethane spring spacers? they seem kind of sketchy to me. i really want to get the df210s for the nice 1.8 drop in the front but the 1.3 in the rear will be a bit too much....so i thought of these spacers.
for example:
Urethane Spring Spacer 20mm >> Jazz Fit GD GE Yaris JDM - eBay (item 200579411296 end time Mar-24-11 06:43:46 PDT)

I realize this thread is old but figured some people may not have found the answer. These springs will be fine with OEM shocks. They've tested it on OEM shocks I'm sure and Tanabe springs don't settle that low because they've already been compressed.
