Tanabe front tower bar
Guess what?? I found another company willing to sell the Tanabe Fit tower bar. Here is the website:

I talked to the US Tanabe people and they gave the 'phone number (626) 333-5398) and I talked to Mark and he input the tower bar from Tanabe TTB122F into his system and will ship next week. Shipping and everything: $99.00. Will probably get it next Friday.
I wonder if they would be willing to sell other Tanabe or products for the Fit? This might be a new vendor for us FitFreaks?!?
Thought you-all (me the Damn Yankee living in the South) would be interested.
Remember: ...turn your head and cough...
(done a few physicals in my time in the USN)

then what about (aboot in CAD) a C-pillar bar? S&H from Canada is 1/2 the price of the item. Can I get that in the US for $79.00 and $10 - $15 S&H? If so where? BTW besides a little frame stiffening you can also hang things from it...

Tanabe install
Finally got my front Tanabe strut bar. Boy is it crowded in the front engine compartment !!
Took a while to install, however. The nuts with the kit from Japan are really small and aluminum: when you drop them in the engine compartment you can't reach them with a magnet.
My solution is to trash the nuts, go to the Ace Hardware and buy real metal nuts that are larger and easier to handle. With those, 0.95 each and you need 6, the install is a lot better and you don't drop as many. But, you also need two people... at least I did and I have been working on cares for a while.

Now installed the rear bar... heck of a time (needs two people) breaking both nuts on top of the shocks... the car definetly does handle better. My car pooler friends won't like it though... who cares...
Front: TTB122F
Rear : TTB122R
For the front go and buy nuts from your lock Ace Hardware or wherever since they are NOT aluminium and if dropped you can get back with a long reach magnet... and they are easier to handle than the ones that are packaged with the bar. The rear: have two people so you can break loose the rear nuts that are REAL tight...
