Coilover Install **NEED HELP**
I took off the drivers side wheel to replace the stock strut/spring with the front Megan coilover and after removing the stock piece I let the brake assembly rest while I got the coilover ready for install... Now I cant get the brake assembly to move back where I can install the new coilover...it seems as thought where the driveshaft connects to the transmission, something inside that boot has come disconnected...
So, before I go tearing into things, can somebody help me fix this so I can install my coilover!!!

your going to have to cut the bands off the cv boot take the cv joint apart put the bearings back in place and jam the end of the shaft back up inside the cup. then repack the boot with grease, go to the autoparts store for new clamps for the boot and then put everything back together. i also learned that lesson the hard way installing coilovers on my maxima.

if the bearings slid down off the 3 shafts on the end of the axle shaft he will have to take it apart if not then alot of pushing should work, but he said he had already tried pushing and twisting and it didnt work so taking it apart will save alot of cussing and frustration.

I dont mean to sound noobish, but alot of what you guys are saying sounds like ancient greek. So I should try pushing hard and if it doesnt work, take off that boot, then what? What will I be able to see/do with the boot off that I cant with it on? Then I have to re grease it? And put a new boot on?

glad it's put back together at least.
I would try to turn the settings the other way around and see if makes a difference. I think that's how the dampers are. I had Tein FLEX on my s2000 and no matter what the setting it was rough.

About an inch in the front and maybe an inch and a half in back...but go figure...where there is one problem, there always seems to be another.
When I go over speed bumps or any bumps in the road for that matter, the cars nose bounces...BAD...I set the dampers to 19 which is supposed to be a street setting, but it is still doing it? Any clue?

I got it all working great, and I gotta say this feels like a different car. I took it on a few onramps and man, it's like riding on rails...reminds me of my CRX...again thanks for all the input!
