AlRedCar's Introduction
So, most of you are going to call me crazy, here's the story...
First car - 2003 Honda Civic Si (kind of a meh-inspiring car)
Second Car - 2004 Subaru WRX (the car that I really miss. Sponsors and 3 years of racing)
Third Car - 2005 Mazda RX8 (too nice for someone at my point of life (need to save money for school and other expenses (girlfriend - > fiancé)))
Fourth Car - 2007 Honda Fit Sport (waaaaay too much fun for what should be an economy car!)
So, I just got back from the Tail of the Dragon with the indyRX8club (great people) and here are some pictures from that event.
So here it is, after shaming a number of RX8s and some other cars.
The Fit outside of our cabin at Fontana Village
My girlfriend behind the wheel (literally) just before she opted for a burnout in front of Kentucky's finest.
The group from the RX8 club. I pwnt them with the Fit, believe it or not.
My Fit being christened as the official IndyRX8Club Pace Car, following the pwning.
Some of the beautiful scenery, as seen from the Cherohala Skyway at 5200 ft.
So that's it for now- I'm sure I'll be posting up a lot more, now that I got myself a nice Nikon D40 birthday present...

"Yessir, all of the aforementioned pwnage was dealt by a stock Fit. I'm surprised at how well this car really handles!"~ AlRedCar
You had me at Yessir. Thats awsome, i got a call from the dealer yesterday, should have the Fit in my posession by the 21st. Nice pics, nice color and beautiful car. Hope to be throwing up some pics within the next week or so.

Sweet! and great pics!
On a side note,: looks like several on the board and in this thread are on the race to 08. Quite a few of us mentioned chomping at the bit & counting the days. My 08 should be in in 2 weeks. Black. (I too will be Nightrider Club/Dark Army) lookin' so fwd to joining the club. Great forum here!
Also AlRed: I gotta make that drive!

I suggest the drive to everyone- I'm considering starting a FitFreak outing to the dragon in the fall... I'll be heading back with alot of the Indy RX8 Club guys, but I'd love to have a long line of Fits behind me. We could do drives, car shows, rafting etc. ... I feel another thread brewing here...

Definitely! The S2ki event I went to in May was awesome! Seeing the shear variety that was present there was well worth the trip.
As far as the Subaru, we installed an IHI VF34 (Japanese Market STi Turbo) header/uppipe combo, new 550cc injectors, and of course the infamous walboro 255lph fuel pump. Then, with a quick flash of the ECU, we had ourselves a pretty devastatingly fast car... I wish I had more chances to drive it though
