I've seen a SR-71 take off and land 3 different times.. The thing would go from a dead stop and disappear into a clear blue sky quicker than a Fit could top out in 4th gear.

Those things leak enough fuel before the tanks are are completely filled to run a fit for 6 months.

See? ...the Fit is way ahead and it has a lot more cargo room! I'll bet my bike won't fit in a sR71 either.

To be fair, you probably couldn't fit your bike in your Fit either if it had two engines, especially with someone in the back seat. One shouldn't compare apples to oranges, after all.

If you eat too many oranges people will wonder why your farts smell like an orange grove.. Eat too many apples and you will have wet farts that stain your skivies... I know, I shouldn't compare.

Of course—as was my response, albeit rather lame. Maybe I should have put an appropriate smily or two in to make things clearer.

I do have a somewhat inscrutable sense of humor at times, I guess. I had a roommate in college who told me (after we had been sharing the apartment for quite some time) that whenever I said something that didn't make any sense, he would laugh because he figured it must have been a joke. This plan of his had me fooled entirely.

Well, I thought you were at first, then I started to worry.

Hay, Have a really Merry Christmas, but stay off the highways if you see any of those SR 71s!
