The Official Midnight Plum Pearl thread

New 2013 color isn't getting much love in the Stickies! Can a Mod create (Or modify this into) a Official Midnight Plum Pearl thread?

Cheers

You probably already know this but:
That color will show swirl marks terribly so don't use an automatic car wash unless it is touch-less, otherwise hand-wash and dry your car the proper way.
It's too sexy to mess it up!

Thanks guys. Would NEVER take any of my vehicles through an automatic car wash. My black metallic Titan has the same kinda problem with showing swirls.

I shall be laying down a coat of good polish on this thing this weekend, will get some better photos then too. The photos here were after we got hit by a dust storm the night before, so it's pretty dusty, even tho the dealer did an awesome job cleaning it the day before.

The brown was because it was dusty, we brought her home at 2pm last Saturday, then at 6pm a huge dust storm blew through town. Here's a video I took last month of one of those suckers:

So she was coated in a fine layer of dust from that, hence making it look kinda brown.

Ah, love the colour!!!

Quick question, wouldn't it be better to wax the car rather?

Window Visors went on yesterday, have some - i-VTECH SOHC decals to go on once I've cleaned it.

That's it for now.

What color flakes does it have?

There might be a slight difference in that color and Blackberry Pearl but it looks an awful lot like the same color....Maybe a tinge more red? Would love to compare but my dealer didn't have any of them in stock, nor any of the Blue Raspberry either.

It is similar - I've seen a Blackberry Pearl color Fit driving around town and had to do a Double Take, in the Shade they would likely both look the same - almost Black, but when the Plum gets in the sun and is clean it really lights up purple / plum. I think the Blackberry has more Blue in it rather than Purple, although I've not seen one close up - only the Color Chip in the brochure from the dealer.
