Oh wait, wrong thread.
here's my BRM guys!!!!! When honda came out with this shade of teal, i knew i had to paint my s13.4 this color once i was done with it. Like others said...its so cool how it has so many different shades depending on the light. Just got done with it the other day, still needs a color sand and buff.

Finally saw a blue raspberry Fit in a parking lot the other night the color looks better in person then in the Honda brochure. Still looks teal to me and metallic. Actually make the car look more upscale.

yeah, i agree 17's look a bit small with a 14 front. but running anything bigger or wider hits the tension rod during full lock with the angle kit and extended lca's. it is what it is, lol.

Oh thanks, hopefully this car won't be exposed to New England much longer! If I can get down south at some point here I'll do quite a few more things to it!

Where south? My wife and I are looking to relocate to Texas around Dallas at some point hopefully in 2013. Our weather is not the greatest and neither are our taxes in NYS.

Hopefully Phoenix or Tucson! Either me and my mom or just me. I hate it up here in Maine. 3 months of summer is just not enough, plus the winters are bad for the car.

Is this color easy to keep clean?

I'm just about to buy a Fit and thinking about either the deep purple and the Blue Metallic Raspberry. I like them both and am thinking it'll be easier to keep the BMR clean, but just curious for any feedback on that.

thanks!

Having owned a black car and the deep purple being pretty darn close to black, my vote would be for the BMR.

But really one could always rationalize any color if your heart is set on something. They both look cool and it really comes down to which one you like!

Truth is, the darker color will get dirtier faster, my old Accord wagon has a more dull version of that purple color and it get's dirtier faster than my Fit does. And you can only get the midnight plum pearl in a sport, which you were probably planning on getting anyways since 90% of the Fit owners get a sport, lol.

have decided to go with the Blue Metallic Raspberry after all... they're both beautiful but prefer the lower maintenance!

You gonna go with a Base or Sport?

trying to decide that... the Sport features are nice, but not sure it's worth the extra cost. just curious, what do you have?

I have the base and I am quite pleased with . It reminds me more of a classic Honda a bit more so than the Sport, the fuel economy for the Base auto is slightly better, rated at 28 City/35 Highway/31 Combined, you should get about 30-37, for the base manual, and both sport transmissions it will be rated at 27/33/30. No difference hardly. I kinda trusted the base auto more, paddle shifters are a fairly new thing, I'm not sure how reliable or good they are for the transmission but they seem to be working for the Fit so I wont deter you away from a sport AT. The sport is a decent value considering it's only $1700 more with a body kit with a roofline spoiler, fogs, alloys, chrome exhaust tip, map lights, steering wheel mounted controls, 2 extra speakers, leather-wrapped steering wheel, black interior with chrome accents, folding armrest, rear stabilizer bar, and a longer grille with black chrome headlights, the navi/bluetooth option, and of course, the sport mode. Did I forgot anything people? Lol. Even with all that being said, the base comes quite loaded like any LX Honda, I got mine decked out enough and plan on adding a few more things. I'm sure either choice you make, will be the right one! And here's a link of the specs if you need anymore info, hope this helped! 2013 Honda Fit - Specifications - Official Site
