I seldom leave my house that I don't see a few deer. I hit one 15 years ago in a 79 Lincoln Town Car and screwed it up by bending the A frame when I slid down an embankment almost into huge pine trees..... It's huge hairy hogs that are taking over the state that I don't want to hit... I saw a dead boar in a ditch today and liked to have been run over while on foot a week or so ago in the woods on my place. Animals are sure behaving more strange here lately than they have in the past.

 

damn, was he ok... and also was the car totalled

 

car wasn't totalled...i'm not sure how much the damage costs were though. side airbag went off but that was it...I'm pretty sure he got:1 new headlight, new fender, some wheel damage they reimbursed him for, back and front bumper, taillight..they straightened out a back fender and a door...the roof also had to be fixed, had a buckle in it (probably due to the airbag going off) and various cheaper plastic parts all over the car.


he was fine, just shook up obviously, happened over 2 years ago now. fit has long since been sold.
