The brown leaf sticker is used for drivers over 70 years old. They first started out for people over 75, but in 2002 or something like that they changed it to 70. It's a caution for other drivers because people over that age statistically have a hard time reacting quickly. You will be fined if you cut off or engage in any other "dangerous" driving maneuvers involving drivers with this sticker on. You will also be fined if you are over 70 and don't put this sticker on.

They also have a green leaf (young leaf) sticker which people that have had their license for less than one year have to put on their car, and a four leaf clover sticker for drivers with disabilities. Same penalty applies.

This thread reminds me... I need to take the "3WA Official Vehicle" static sticky (from the anime "Dirty Pair" - I suppose the sticker is similar in theme to the "Tokyo Police Cataclysm Division" sticker dacalac mentioned, though less obvious) off my Neon and put it on my Fit. (Sorry anime fans, I got it as a freebie at the ADV table at A-Kon almost ten years ago, and I have no idea where one could get another.)

 

Yo Dacalac...did u buy any FIT/JAzz stuff from the PI? Did u get a chance to meet some of the folks from GD united?? I'm leaving next week for the PI. I hope I can make it to the Fit/Jazz owners get together on Aug 6.

My friend who did my Ventureshield can get a bunch cut out for us. I can get them together and then ship them out to you guys individually via snail mail as it would be the cheapest. Anyone interested?
