Search my photo thread in the GE sub forum..."allow me to reintroduce myself..."

I also have a Milano red Fit. These light weight wheels are the single best mod i've made...that and choosing overall smaller diameter for better acceleration. People who know always compliment them....

BTW...it's RPF1.

I've been trying to decide what route to take, 16" or 17"? Not much difference in weight, about a 1lb, and cost is less then $10 between them.

So.... 16 or 17?

I'm pretty sure the weight difference is larger than 1 lb. Also, you have to factor in the weight of the larger tire. Then you have to factor in the lower effect of larger diameter tires...this will negatively effect acceleration (i.e. you will be slower off the line)....You can prove this to yourself using an online gear calculator.

17" wheels are strictly for show...if this is what you are going for then you might as well choose a different rim because you won't reap the benefits of this track oriented wheel on the Fit at that diameter.

Enkei shows the 16" at 13.7lbs and the 17" at 14.6lbs. You do have a point on the other stuff.

You got me there...I knew this stuff like the back of my hand when I was shopping for wheels a couple months ago. My advice, get the 15" wheels and 50-55 series tires with a low drop (subjective) and you will ABSOLUTELY FREAKING LOVE the performance boost...braking, acceleration, cornering, etc.

Yeah, the 15" is 9.5lbs! But I would like wheel to show more. I think a 16" is a good compromise.

I really like the new color brilliant metallic coating, but it's only available in 17" or larger I believe.
