^ Yep I believe the manufacturer's thinking is out of sight out of mind. And the metals are disappearing on new motors replaced by plastics like valve covers, intakes and its just how its done now, a shame for motor heads like us here.

I have a friend, he knows someone who has 2 kswap fits and they got ac. So been done before me.

No idea what color fits he has or where he’s from. Didn’t get into it that much.
