My wife and I have owned many cars, all of which we have modded. None of which we kept a picture trail. I figured I'd create a thread to share with everyone on the progress with the car. We kind of have an idea on how we will be modding the car, follow the thread to see the progress. It will be kept clean and simple

Here is the car 2 weeks after purchase.

 

Yesterday, I ordered OEM fabric floormats and a Blox Racing Small Antenna.

Today, the car windows got tinted. We kept within legal limit here in Florida so 35% in the front and the rest 20%. No pictures, but will have some soon. Today has been raining all day.

 

Good start. Straight in with the mods. Although a lip kit would do wonders.

 

I'll be interested to see the build.

Thanks! A lip kit is definetely something we have on our list.

Exterior and Interior mods mostly, nothing crazy though. Keeping it clean. We are going to get as much JDM parts as we can and can afford that will fit. As for performance, nothing major really just probably intake and an axle back. Maybe in the future a K-swap but that is waaaaaaay down the road. Additionally we will get some suspension mods.

I don't want to a run a list of parts yet because nothing really is set in stone. With additions pics will definetely follow

Cool im doing the same trail myself. I to just got the carpet floor mats in on mine my windows were all ready tinted when i bought the Fit.

We are currently in the process of getting a lip kit next then pricing out for paint. We are also going to start looking for a set of wheels. Everything little by little though, the car will slowly start to look better!

 

Hopefully you have strong reception in your area with the Blox antenna. I went with the shortest they have, now I get like 3 stations. Rarely listen to the radio, but I lost most of the ones I enjoy.

 

If it were my daily driver I wouldn't mind at all as I don't listen to the radio in my car at all, just CD's for me. This car though is my wife's daily driver and I told her what you said she didn't seem too upset about it. She has a radio station she listens to in the mornings to work so hopefully there is no reception issues atleast with that one station she likes. Outside of that its all cd's. We like the look of the short antenna, we hate the stock antenna.

 

I hear you, I've got my ipod with me constantly so hardly any radio for me. The stock antenna is hideously tall.

Blox Performance Small Antenna arrived today and installed. Waiting on a few things to get in that I listed in the last post. There's a little set back on time as far as ordering more parts to take care of some personal matters but I will keep this thread updated as parts arrive/installed/ordered.
