Re-covered my front door panels as they had faded on the tops after 4 years. The seller replaced the material for free. Took me a couple hrs.

Six years ago on the 4th I bought her and took possession on the 7th. Only routine maintenance required. Still enjoy driving her.

Around 56,000kms. The combo of painting the $$$$grille, deflector removal and painting lower section black has made quite a difference in the look. Time to clean up the corners of the lip. Still not bad enough for a repaint. I will just sand a bit and give it a shot of primer and taffy white.

Will be interested in your paint job. I have a few small chips in mine and the white shows through. Hardly noticeable .

205x50x16 . Wheels are a 40 offset. The fronts rub occasionally but not so much I would change. Too bad the nice wheels are a 40 whereas a 42 or higher would clear.

Your car looks great Mr Wild Bill.. Old age has me slowed to a crawl with a huge pile of expensive parts I need to install and a few other things I still need to purchase.. It should be scary fast when it is completed... My wife decided to trade in her low mileage 2009 Forester for a new 2015 Outback.. I bought a 07 VW Passat Wagon that was totaled out a few months later by a hit and run driver and replaced with an 05 Audi A-6.. It should keep me going for awhile longer.. Both of us are sold on CVTs and AWD now... I'd forgotten what wonderful cars the Germans build.. Keep on keeping on Wild Bill..

I was thinking about you the other day. Glad you are still with us. Well at my advanced age CVTs/Autos are the way to go. I do not need 4WD. I stay home if the snow is that deep. Yes I am still hanging on to my 09. Getting too old to start over on a GK. Besides I still enjoy my GE. Take care.
