well we have it back... they did a great job fitting and painting the new door skin and blending in the other panels...

we still have some very small chips and scuffs on the pass side that they offered to repaint the door skin, but i'm tired of having our car gone... so i think my friend and i are going to compound and polish the hell out of it with his buffer...

wife says its driving a little funny as well... i'm going to drive it in a bit to see what's going on... we just want the car to be right so we don't have to worry about this whole shit load of a mess...

not as of yet...

i've got the basic idea worked out, now it's a matter of putting it together...

instead of building it using lowe's materials, i'm going to try to hit up a junk yard with a friend to see what kind of scoop we can find that might be a good fit...

the piping will be easy, it's the opening and over the upper rad bar that will be the tricky part...

in other news: i stopped posting pics up here since our wheels got stolen a few months ago... i don't know if we just got cased by someone local, or if someone happened upon pics on here... i don't like assholes...

So after driving it for awhile, how's the clutch feeling?

great... still very glad i did it...

the combination of a solid clutch line, getting rid of the cdv, and adjusting the clutch pedal down was huge... i'd recommend it to anyone...

on the intake note, i don't think i'm going to go over the rad to the upper grille anymore... too much work and time that i dont' really have, so i'm going to run a pipe from the lower grille on the drivers side up and in...

i stopped posting pics up here since my wheels got stolen... don't really want to advertise anymore...

Alright, so it still feels as good as when you first did it? I hate how high the engagement point is, I'm so used to my EF and Integra lol

not really... i think it's all in there... i think i would still get a slightly shorter braided line... by like 4"...

and don't forget to get new clutch fluid and bleed the system after you're done...

Been too long...

Installed new +50 headlight bulbs... Much better and tired of dealing with blown bulbs...
I finished up the intake for now...
Got an adapter for my viper shift knob...
New shift boot is on...
Swift springs are in my possession...
Front tokico hts shocks are in my possession (will be slotting the top hole for camber gain)...
Rear koni yellows are on their way from redshiftchris...

Pictures, of course, are coming later...

I saw you're wtb thread...

I bought the full set and then decided to do the konis in the rear... If they sold the koni str for the gd front I'd get those and sell you the hts...

Not many options out there...

I know the ge front struts would bolt up to a gd, but would they give less stroke? Is the perch the same height...

Reason I'm asking is that koni is coming out with the koni str for the front of the ge but not the gd...

Not sure, I know GE's use significantly lower spring rates which would likely impact the damping as well.

Just slotted my front hts struts for adjustable camber gain...

Rear koni yellows are here too, from redshiftchris, and they look great... Install should be happening soon along with a DIY alignment...

Alignment complete... After numbers are:

Front left
-1.1 camber
+1/16 toe

Front right
-1.3 camber
+1/16 toe

Rear camber was <2* per side... Right rear toe is +1/8 and I didn't get the left rear toe measured (forgot)...

I'll try to get some shims figured out for the rear but I'm quite pleased with things now...

I'll post pics once I figure out what to do with the rear lower shock bolt that seems to have fused to the inner bushing sleeve... :/

Redid the alignment and nailed it this time...

Also replaced the rear lower mount and the drivers side with the ones that I filled with windowweld a while ago... Vibes aren't terrible, has a deeper tone, shifting is easier... I do like... It was a pita though...

Also getting the rebound adjustments dialed in too...

Finally installed my alpine single din deck in and got it to work with my iphone 5...

All is well in my world now...
