Seeing how you have chips and scratches on your hood already, I think this is a pretty cool idea. But I wouldn't recommend this to people who have a hood in decent shape. Speaking from experience, using magnets on our cars is just asking for trouble. I had magnetic numbers when I auto crossed and it ended up making small scratches from small pieces of stuff being stuck between the two surfaces. I'm sure it wouldn't have happen if I would have made sure both parts were super clean and if we didn't race in a parking lot made of pebbles.

ya they have instructions saying that you need to make sure that the car is well waxed right before you put it on, it also says to check it once in awhile to make sure you dont have any dust or anything underneath, so as long as the car is waxed real good and you check it once in awhile than ull be ok, but like u said my car has a million chips in it already underneath the bra so im not worried, but i think that nomatter if it was a magnet bra or a leather bra id think that it might scratch it if it wasnt waxed.

Hey man, thanks for the link and pics. In my opinion, I think your car would look great without those stickers. Think about it!

I've had one for over a year, looks really good on the BOM, definitely protects the hood but it's starting to bubble in a couple of places.

make you you have plenty of wax under there. those things will stain your white finish!

many people from the MINI world knows this from magnetic gumballs (numbers on doors)

Can't someone just walk by and take it off, if it's just connected by a magnet?

nope i thought the same thing wen i saw it, but theres a gasket that goes around the whole thing that tucks under the edge of the hood, when the hood is closed its imposible to steal, you can see the gasket in my pictures.
