thanks guys and yeah besides my badly stiffed up wrist and my hip pain im cool. got the estimate from geico at 4 grand. hopefully i will be back on the road in 2 1/2 weeks. got a pretty good body shop right down the road here. oh and i went back down the road later and never saw the deer so if it wasn't dead right then i sure did ruin the rest of it's weekend!

Back when I lived in Michigan I ran over a dead deer that was in the travel lane. To this day I am amazed that my 99 Civic cleared it, only catching some hair on the exhaust. Them darn animals can really do some damage. I'm glad to hear your all right. When it comes to being in an accident, a car is just a car.

Dam....I seen those a lot in Colorado and in black country road in California..... 4K is really good deal.....when my buddy hit a deer once it cost him 3k to replace the front bumper and headlight and new tire.....
usually from what I learn if dead deer laying in middle of the road is Park ranger or Police remove it or sometime someone actually take it......
