Where'd you find this Pic at? I remember waxing the car just the day before too. I think I'll be waxing it later on today.

Sorry for the basic level of this question, but does NBP have a real pearl or metallic effect to it, or is it a pure black with a simple clearcoat? I've been up close to a couple NBP's and I can't see any metallic or pearly effect to them at all. I'd like to think there was more to it than just black, but it looks good either way.

The NHBP paint on my hood has hundreds of white holes in it after 29K miles and 18 months. It looks way way worse than my 8-1/2 year old Jetta with 130K miles driven along the same routes.
I tried using a permanent black marker to hide the larger white pits. It's a losing cause, too many. I think the only solution is to sand, fill, and repaint with a decent thickness.
Bird droppings eat through the entire clear coat in less than 24 hours. I have many spots with no shine at all.

Yup NHBP all the way! I had an 01 civic coupe that was NHBP, and there was no turning back (to any other color that is). The funny things is I have not seen a color on the USDM Fit that I didnt really like. I love a british racing green...but not on a fit (at least I dont think it would look good) Maybe a NHBP with a deep emerald metalic instead of the blue and red metalic. My old car had the NHBP with a heavier plum color in it. This Fit seems to be a bit heavier on just the blue metalic.
k this is silly Im gunna shut up now.

Hmmm... I guess I need to try to get a better look at one some time, I haven't noticed the blue at all. If it would have been a little more obvsious, I may have been swayed towards it a little more, but I'm pretty happy with my BBP Fit. Fits sure wear a dark color well!
