i love you kelso lol.

yea...dumbest thing ever when I first seen a honda meet that had a few rusted hoods n other bits :/ n for those who said thinkin outside the box...umm...not really outside the box, sorta just hopped into another. vdubs rust the hood...I think hondas should just be natural n rust there quarter panels/fenders.yup.

one honda i can think of that wouldn't look bad with hoodrust are ee's or maybe ef's...mostly just the wagovans though.

Lol... I was just kidding about the idea.. I don't think I would do it cause I don't think its legal and I work for the police dpt in my county so I can't be getting into trouble now if they're would be any way to have the hood light up in a glow in the dark color and off right when the 5-0 rolls up I could turn it off lol.

This is a first for me. I like it!

That would be cool making a big sun with beams of rust coming out of it like the WW2 Japanese flag.

has it eaten the hood yet? If it was just surface rust for fun, I would polish it out. Keep it a stainless/polish look. Kinda like a chrome hood, but not as shiney.

Not that I would be doing this though... It does look acceptable though. Dont let the rust eat in to the car or anything please.

for the rust to eat into the hood its gonna be a while and it has an acceptable gap to not touch the fenders...all it has is pure surface rus I might spray some clear on it..im gonna have it like that until i get bored of it..then i would just sand the rust and do some crazy design/graffiti on it..dont know yet

Pontiac took the hoods, front fenders, doors and trunk lids for special edition 64 GTOs put them in a field, used chemicals to speed up he oxidation, acid dipped them followed by bead blasting as a means of reducing the body weight..... They had nothing under the hood driven by the engine but the water pump, alternator and drive train.... Three deuces 4 speed 4:11 positrac and painted silver with black top and rally wheels.... They were the fastest Goats ever built..... A friend got one when he was 16 and learned to drive stick shift in it and riding with him while he learned took more years off of my life than 13 months of combat with the Marines in Vietnam..... It would be a cheap alternative to carbon fiber parts and a hell of lot more stealthy.
