look, the next dub trend!.. who's going to be the first Fit to do it?

all joking aside, i'm still really intrigued about how the rusted hood will look on the GD even though i would never do it myself

Close this is where its at

From a car featured in PVW

anyway, I think it has a chance of looking good. I like that you are doing what you want, it shouldnt matter what other people think. If you have haters you are doing something right.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to customising a car. Its not a math problem with a single correct answer. No car will please every person that sees it. The whole point in modding a car is doing what you, the owner, want to do to it, not what the majority of people view as "right"

i want to do this and have wanted to for a long time, what color is ricky's car? i still might have to do it on my TW and the hatch would be hells hella cool now that i saw the blue civic above, keepipg is thinking about wood grain vinyl on the hood and roof of his black fit, and it can just be taken off when you get sick of it, just like the rusty hood, it can hang on the wall of the garage if you get sick of it
I THNK IT'S DOPE AND KUDOS TO YOU FOR BEING THE FIRST ONE TO TAKE THE CHANCE, SERIOUSLY ONLY ABOUT 5% OF PEOPLE WILL LIKE IT- i'm one of that 5%

here is a link for all the nubees incase you are not quite following this trend http://blog.cardomain.com/2009/01/30/rusty-hood-trend/

and my favorite pic in this style on the internet = s o o o o c o o o l !

Preach on brother! lol... i know people might not like it but don't put him down for having some gusto and doing something most of us wouldn't. I'm glad people are thinking outside of the box. I've been to 3 SEMA shows and its always the people who think outside of the box that make you stop and take pictures. To be honest I, and many others, passed up a lot of good cars to go crowd around the really unique ones.

I'm still trying to think my way outside of the box on this Fit and probably won't start modifying until I've got something in mind that is unique enough for me. I think the rusted hood is far better than massive spoilers, flame stickers, and other "fast and furious" stuff i keep seeing around town; but thats just my opinion. Dislike but don't hate. at least hes a Fit Freak!

I've seen worst things done to a Fit, but to each his/her own.
