Some old pics of my '08 VBP GD3 (WedsSport, Swift, T1R, etc.)

Hi all,

Been a while since I posted, but here are some pics from about 8 months ago of my '08 GD3. It looks a little different now (J's Racing and Trust bits, etc.), but I don't think I ever posted these. Hope you like them.

the top left part of your right taillight seems a bit off, try pushing it in some more. The rest looks great

Good eye. I've been meaning to adjust them since the one on the left isn't sitting perfectly flush either, but before I knew it, we were in summer, and today it's gonna be like 120, so I'm not gonna be out there working on the car anytime soon. LOL

Thanks guys... I have a GReddy Ti-C on there right now, but I'm going back to the 50s v2 this weekend. I have a bunch of other parts I've just been really lazy about putting on... my wife and I just bought a house, though, so I finally have a garage that I can work in. Should help motivate me. Take care, and thanks again.

Thanks eldaino... I appreciate the kind words. Just running Swift springs w/ the stock dampers. Not entirely sure I'm happy with them. They feel alright, but I don't like the drop. Not nearly enough for my tastes, even though it looks OK in these pics. In person, lots of rear gap in particular. And yes, 16s.

ah ok i gotcha.
picked up some swifts for myself, and i'm sure i'll like them, as i was looking to lower, but mostly for the benefit of performance. i'm sure that if you paired them with dampers, i think that would lower it a bit more.

but your fit looks grand my friend. the cleaner the better, wheels that fit right...i'm suprised it has not garnered more praise.

well then again its probaby because your fit IS clean, HAS wheels that FIT and is not dragging its ass everywhere.

well done mike.

Thanks again... and good point about the dampers. I really should've done them all-around when I did the springs, but I guess I was anxious to get the wheels mounted. LOL Believe me, I don't want it slammed to the ground (you should see some of the speed bumps/driveway cuts in Phoenix!), but a third or half-inch more would make me very happy.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words. I got all the "bad stuff" out of my system in my high school and college years. I'm in my mid-30s now, so keeping things clean and relatively subtle is important to me.

Wow, forgot how long it's been since I've posted any pictures, so here's a more recent one... not much has changed since the pics above:

I do have the caps on the wheels now, as well as the J's Racing grille, which to be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of, but I've been lazy and haven't removed it. I also went back to my 50s v2 after being annoyed w/ my Ti-C for far too long. I'll probably do a new sound system soon.
