How can you say that it fits perfect? I haven't seen the bay on a GE in person yet, but without knowing what has to be cut you never know how perfect it fits...

Literally, indeed.
From the looks of things the motor definitely had to come in from the bottom; no chance it's going to fit from the hood/bonnet opening.
I don't think the K20A fits better in the GE than in the GDs. I imagine the challenge was greater with the newer car. There's just not much room for error there. And I also shudder to think how much of the frame rail had to be cut or notched just to do this. I mean, I'm all for cool swaps but I frown on cutting/notching critical areas of the chassis.
