i heard about this stretch of road, and from what i hear, its a must for any driver, can anyone tell me what town, state, county, or anything about it, other than 11 miles, 318 turns, lol

 

It's on the NC/TN border, it's really cool but only worth it if you intend on going during the week (tues or wed is best IMO) and during the day, any other time and it is packed with cops and other people, i'll look up the county

 

it is highway 129 and just off the cherahoala skyway, IMO just the view alone is worth the trip, and btw all of the roads in this area are great, the mountains make all of them curvy, and the mild climate make them smooth as glass

 

can anyone say fitfreak meet, lol

 

i think there are some down there...for locals...

 

I've made this run two years ago on the way back from Atlanta. I highly recommend it for whoever is passing through. This was definately one of the best drives I've ever had and I do plan on visiting it again. I've also done the PCH from NORCAL heading south and with I can bring my S2000 out there one time to do it again as well.

 

its in tenn and its called deals gap when i went i drove down the road its intense i also got a T shirt

 

I live about 2 hrs from there. It's an awesome road, but it does suck on the weekends. Too many cops to enjoy it.
