My TW GE
Here are some newer pics of my car. I had put the images from when I painted my OEM wheels in the TW Sticky, but figured I'd show them here as well.
Will be lowered on Swift springs by the end of summer, and maybe on different wheels later down the line.
Close up of the wheel
Jeez, I just realized how much better you car looks when you get images somewhere other than your parent's driveway, lol

Yup you do. In fact, I passed by that van in you sig a couple/few weeks ago.
I live in Laguna Niguel, near Seaside Meadows (obviously don't want to get more specific, lol).
Went to Dana though, 02 grad, pretty sure you're an Aliso kid right?

I did this all in my garage, with the car sticking half way out, lol
First off I masked off the section I wanted to be black with green 3m painters tape. It's a little sticker than blue, so it's better for those clean edges (remember to never lay masking tape on its side, that's the key to keeping the edge clean when painting).
I then wrapped the car in plastic sheeting from Home Depot, using blue tape on top of the green to keep the plastic in place.
I wet sanded with 400 grit, but only enough to rough up the surface. Wet sanding keeps the sand paper clean, and keeps the finish smoother.
Wiped everything down with Duplicolor prep wipe.
Wiped dry with microfiber towel.
Wiped clean with tack cloth
Sprayed Duplicolor filler primer
Let dry for 30 minutes between coats to prevent venting.
3 coats later sprayed Duplicolor Truck/Van/SUV flat black, #T095 Universal Flat Black.
3 coats of that, again, with 30 minutes between coats to preventing venting.
Final step was to use plain old pin striping vinyl to seal the edge, and make it that much straighter
Did the above to paint the rear spoiler as well.
