depends on what you consider a hassle to be with bodywork. each end was cut off, fiberglassed, and molded to fit w/still a slight amount of imperfections that I still have yet to have a body shop complete upon repainting. the front usd re-bar still does not fit, and theres some additional work necessary to get the midsection to connect to the hood latch area. this could easily require a cooling plate (which I don't believe they have yet for the fit but correct me if im wrong) or some custom plating/fiberglass to make the connection between the gap (because the jdm midsection is much smaller in length). I myself wasn't the one who did or had the body work done before I bought it but I was shown the pictures before/after and it took several weeks to get it done the way the original owner wanted it. I'd say for anyone whose had experience w/this type of bodywork that it is likely much more of a hassle than to just buy the whole conversion (fenders, hood, headlamps, etc.) However, it can be much more cheaper if you know the right body shop/connections or if you feel confident doing it yourself. Just be sure there are several layers or else the fiberglass WILLL warp and cause your fitment to be worse off than initially intended. The guys at autofashion might be able to assist/inform you more of the complete process. let me know if you need their information.
