Something is wrong with my exhaust sitting in class now going to the shop after school to have it looked at hopefully it's an easy repair.

My 2 1/2 bpipe rattles up against one of the heat plates when the car is cold. Will removing the heat plate make a huge difference or does it not do that much?

You could pull the heatshield, its doubtful you'll notice it missing. Another fix could be to loosen the bolts on the exhaust and see if you can reallign it to not rub. You'll probably be better off pulling the shield or putting a custom bend into the hanger so it doesn't sit so close to the shield.

i'd want to see where and how it's rubbing before removing anything... it could be a sign of another issue, or it could have just settled into its "new" position...

removing a heat shield shouldn't be a problem as long as there isn't anything sitting too close to it...

Well i cracked the pipe rite by the flange connecting to the cat. Popped it off the ground pretty hard it looks like i dropped it off there going to fix it and see if they can beef up the pipe to prevent anything like this from happening again. The heat shield was only touching in a tiny spot while it was up on the car lift I bent the piece up a little bit so it would'nt touch.

Well they tried to patch the hole and then cover it with a thicker pipe in one area just incase it hits the ground again.

Still sounds like its leaking think ill be ordering the t1r bpipe.

You need to check out the new club they started for the tri state and come to the meet.

Every things good besides the whole in my mid-pipe. I want to order the T1R but im short like $100 because I paid to try and patch my existing mid pipe.

Bout to order some T1R purple lugs and some adapters to make them fit correctly against my HFP wheels. Can anyone confirm these work?

Those should work, as long as the side where the lug seats into the adapter is the same size/shape.

I got an update for ya guys. Uploaded these from my phone to photobucket just click the link to see the whole album. Just some more crappy cell phone pics man I need a good camera.

Login to a private Photobucket.com album

Next plan is some purple lug nuts and painting the H in the rims black.

After that no more spending saving up for some F.I either a super charger or turbo not sure yet.
