check out my shark fin installed...finally

Not my cup of tea on the Fit, but at least it's color matched. How was the install?

easy install...just removed the stubby, cleaned the area with alcohol, attached the antenna coil to the base (with the screw provided), centered it up using masking tape, and applied. Has to be applied at room temp., so I heated the area with a hair dryer. Works great and color match is perfect...I didn't think everyone would like it, just wanted to give fit freaks and friends a chance to see it. Thanks!

i think the shark-fin antenna looks much better on a GE than the GD.. great job! now you don't have to worry about the scion jerks who keep stealing our antennas

Definitely a mod strictly for the GE. The lines of the car go well with the angular shark fin antenna. A mod I might just have to tackle on my GE. Great job!

thanks for the offer! mine was stolen once but i bought a used one for dirt cheap from a Fit owner who replaced his a while back. i've learned to remove the antenna every time i'm parked in a sketchy area

lol.....thats funny, but i'm not sure about the fin? i would like to see front shots and futher away shots, kinda like i'm not looking for it but i see kinda shots....lol

got 'cha...that stinks when you have to disassemble your car, so creeps won't take your stuff.

I've had my $45 Spoon antenna on for about a year now. Never got stolen. lol knock on wood.

hey, you can get these through visualgarage.com, I paid $69 and that included custom painting. Easy to install and works great! Tried to downdoad a pic, but photobucket wasn't working, but you can see it on my page.

i don't think it looks that bad. a shorty antenna would've looked better imo but this is still pretty cool.
