Firefly's BOM...aka The Sweet One
Hi everyone. I don't post very often, but thought I'd share my pix with you. I purchased my new BOM in June '08. These pics were mostly taken then, but lately I've had some interest expressed in seeing pix of the black leather interior so I figured I'd post some. New wheels, tint, and a dash kit are in the plans very soon, so I'll update when that happens. So far I just have black leather interior, and custom floormats.

LOL, you're sooo right!
Tint is a must before summer. Its my next mod along with new wheels. I'm not going thru that again!

My fault. That is one nice ride you got!

No problem.
As for the leather, they did do a really good job. I may have a pic of the backseat area somewhere. I'll see if I can find it. Thanks again for all the positive feedback.

Couple of more pics-rear area. My white balance was off a little on these so the color appears more gray in the foreground, but you get the idea. The floormats are dk graphite with silver piping. In hindsight, I should have gone with black instead of graphite on those, but they still look pretty good in person.

I believe there are pressure points associated with the airbags activation which is why I wanted it done thru the dealer. But no, I don't believe they were affected.
It is my understanding, that most cars built overseas, even those that offer leather as an option, have it installed AFTER they are taken off the ship. I know this because several years ago my boss ordered a fully loaded Toyota Sequoia thru a dealership out of state. He just picked his colors etc. It came with leather as an option which the dealer said would be installed after it was taken off the ship. He learned later that a local dealer that serviced his vehicle, told him the quality of leather is actually better on aftermarket than what he got.
Also, I think there was a thread on this on the forum, way back somewhere. There's a few other members who've done this & I remember reading about it when I bought my Fit.
