Why? So he can make his engine bay look uglier?
And a tubi mani is pointless unless you make over 500whp.

It just looks cool.

Naa.. Not with the L15. 300max is my guess.
And thats pushing it with the stock head. Im not talking about cheap porting either.
Youll need a FULLY built head. Im sure the valves are going to float on you at 12-15psi.

Thats not where my mind is Im thinking 270-300 your going to be doing another thread like this Tittled Who through a party in my tranny, cause theres confeiti everywhere, or where did the other half of my axel? Cause I knew it was there when I left. But hopefully im wrong but my Boy toms wife snapped a axel in 03 while we were going to H.I.N and her car had all bolt on with a stage 2 clutch, but it could just be preludes cause another friend of mine snapped one on the same side and all he had was a exhaust. But if the tranny and axels are strong enuff I would invest in a LSD cause you going to make mush out your tire with that kinda power
Good luck post more pic of the broke motor PLease

the budpan10 in singapore was pushing +400hp from his l15 with a light port and polished head so it is possible but you will struggle for every pony and im sure the realiability of it will go right down the pisser.

well the trans is my BIG concern. when its gets built i dont want to run on the most power it cam make. i want a safe reliable tune that makes power if i can, id like to see around 250-265 on pump then if i go to the track id up the boost and run some vp import 100 octane race gas. but as of right now i think my lil turbo is only gona be capable of around 220 230. but a built reliable fit making 230 hp is A OK with me

Oh shit, this doesn't give me the warm fuzzies at all...

Granted I'm only on 6psi, and I don't beat on my car much.. I'd say I've got till about 70k before I need to worry.

I wonder if there's a chance ARP will make rod bolts that fit the stock rods... If not I know what I'm saving up for next winter!

Glad you've got such a good attitude about this, +1 for taking the next brave step in the l15's history!

This is the best line of the whole thread. I can totally relate. I was racing my lil bro's H22 hatchback and it was SCREAMIN fast on the run, and Bottom of 4th gear I hear BOOM and see white smoke everywhere, and it misted the rear hatch window. I was like, "that's not good, I think we just lost the oil pan, but the oil warning light hasn't come on" and my lil bro was in the passengers seat. As soon as I said that, the oil light came on, then the check engine, so I turned the ignition off, and then back to on while still rollin so I could steer off at the end of the strip. The oil was all over the place. I go check it out, expecting a hole in the block, but instead, my lil bro never torqued the drain plug or replaced the crush washer like I told him to when he chainged the oil. It was an easy fix for once.

And potato, at 6psi and non-hardcore driving, You can easily get more than 70k outta your engine. I have seen 6-8psi hondas pass 200k. Just use synthetic and change your oil when the Oil Minder hits 50% which should be 3000-3500 miles. It saves you a lot of hassle in the long run.
