ok well im done for the night the motor is almost out, infact it will be out tomorrow. i found the big hole i was looking, the turbo was hiding it lol. its a good size hole in the block i think i found what went, im seeing bits of piston and oil controle rings in the hole. so im thinking the piston had enough, time for some CP pistons

wow. thanks for seeing how much the fit can really handle.

first you tested the durability of the lsd and transmission and now the actual motor.

that sucks to see such carnage but now we all know what the l15 is all about.
im really impressed that it can still run on the three cylinders.

gotta love honda.

that's pretty high compression... damn. how come you did not purchase a low compression piston? like 8.5:1 or 9.0:1 hopefully you'll get a new engine... take some pics of DIY or maybe a K20 can't wait

yes i do have to pay to play. and im not one of thoes people that squeeze every little inch of power out and not expect it to blow. i have been waiting a wile, lol in my eyes its gone about 8000 miles over what i thought she would blow at. this motor is very strong for what it is. well its just 3 in the morning here and the motor is ready to come out, its just hanging on two mounts so i pretty much got the motor out in about 6 hours on the garage floor. ill pick up the engine lift tomorrow from my friend and then she will be out. should be running again on Saturday, earlier today i was like ..... BOOM!!!!!! then i did this opened the hood and did this. when i got home i looked at it and did this called up and got a motor and did this now im doing this cuz im having so much fun riping my car apart.

more info and pics to come

solbrothers you can't tell just by looking at the pics if his rotors are on in the correct orientation. it depends on the manufacturer's design.

I was thinking that after all the work you got to do to replace your motor you could put something better in like a k series type r, but it would be a lil expensive and you will lose some comforts but it would be nice in there

hey i like your sig. at this point with all iv done and going to do it would have been cheaper to do a k but..... its to much weight in the front of the car i like to auto cross and whip the car around and with all that weight in the front it would push like a dump truck.
