Teasers/Surprises/Build up thread of 1FiTpiNOY
I decided to do a build up thread. I will keep it cleaned up as possible with the updates all in the first page, so that you won't have to go hunting for the pictures lol I know how annoying that is. So yeah, lets begin!!!
2/20/09
After school I went fishing at this new park that was recently built in my area. I predicted the canal system would produce alot of bites, and it indeed did
But I got home not too long ago and I find a tall box standing in front of my door. Big box, and an envelope.....
Teasers for now, as the weather is not suitable to continue the epicness
And my catch of the day
Good size peacock bass. It gave a really strong fight too. Fun times!

So I finally received my emblems from Dave. They are just so precious.
Wasted no time, and set up my laptop in the garage so I can read the DIY.
And here we go!
Started off with the first steps: Take off the pry clips, then remove the radiator cover.
Testfitting
Then an idea came up: Yes I was thinking in the traditional filipino squat ;P
Looked around in my tool box and found what I was looking for: a drillbit the same size as the prongs on the emblem. I figured that if it was just those two grommets that were holding the USDM emblem to the car alone, then hell they must be danm good lawlz. I also knew it would help me relax knowing the emblem wouldn't just fall off because I realized the adhesive from the emblem would only be applied to the shape of the H. I just didn't feel that alone would hold up to the weathering and highway commuting I do.
So.....I locked her in and I'm ready to go!
But first I needed to find a way to precisely measure where I needed to drill in order for the prongs to sit nicely......So, I found some white out
ARRRRRR, white marks the spot :P
>_< I'm not going to lie, I was scared doing this
TADA!!!! New holes for the new emblems ^_^
Testfitted, notice the adhesive was not yet removed.
Used a razor to flatten everything out just like the DIY. Wiped the surface of the grill with alcohol to make sure everything as clean. Peeled her off, settled her into her nice new home, put in the grommets from the back, and put everything back together. WAHOO! WHAT A BEAUT!!!!
I did not repeat my technique for the rear emblem because of the tight space there was to work with. I didn't want to risk accidently drilling through the trunk >_< So I just followed the DIY and got her on there hehe.

Went to buy some guppies to feed my cichlids, and found this nice truck loading spot behind a Lowes. So I went home and grabbed my camera and decided to catch a few updated shots for you guys!
ENJOY!!!
Thanks again guys! More to come!!!!
Decided to photoshop something I think would look good on the Fit. Inspiration was from a member named Lek
What do you guys think?

Hey 1FiTpINOY,
That JDM red steering wheel badge you have looks awesome! Were you able to install that yourself? Is there a thread on fitfreak that lays out the installation instructions? Your car looks awesome. I can't wait to see what it looks like when you add the JDM front and rear badges. Good luck!

Yes I was able to install it by myself. But it's not a badge, its just a vinyl sticker that fills in the black part within the emblem, but it still looks hardcore. I purchased it from TFBDesigns and it came with instructions
Update in a few minutes guys!!!!
