excellent find, i thought the ek9 wud have wiped the floor of everyone in that list.. tho i must admit the js fit looked slow during the 1st sector comapred with others until the split times came up 25.***.. luving the low ness aswell...

yea, but it really has to be done right. do you see the renforcements that were put up on the A pillar? and you can bet your ass that car was stripped and the whole frame was renforced with various cross members and spot welds. the GD3's chassis isnt built to handle that much power. it would take ALOT to make it track worthy, but from the looks of the j's gd3 lap, it looks like its worth the effort.

actually, k20 swap into lotuses are pretty common. check this supercharged k20 lotus out. insane! looks like he has trouble controlling it

Oh man! i seriously had a smile from ear to ear watching that vid. An Elise has always struck me as "the great" balanced lightweight sports car of this decade. I have never seen one struggle to gain composure on the track, it was an awesome site. I would love to see a k20r without the charger, i think it would be a perfect marriage.

i would use a k20a2 head and k24a1 block or k24a4 block (i don't know which block to get. i don't know which one is better). i heard you can put these two together for pretty cheap

Well I'm still gonna keep my L15 in my car for now & drive easy, but the k series is definitely what I want. But I'm gonna stiffen the body on my car moderately, but when I do decide to get the k-series, I'm putting a rollcage in my car & sparco seat. But this it.
