AutoX is SOOOO FTW!

Took the Fit out to AutoX for the first time today.
One word..AMAZING! It was a awesome expirience, im 100% hooked on the sport. I recommend anyone who enjoys driving, and has a Fit to go out and do it.

Was beating some Evos, and Civic Sis. That goes to show this sport is really all about driving skill!

Yeah its a AT heh.
Its not easy on the tires lol. Im thinking about using these wheels/tires only for track, and use my stock wheels/tires daily. Those tires, even though they arent race tires will last me alot longer for AutoX if they are used only on AutoX days once a month or so.

Yeah man, i was worried on how my AT would work. Its great, this particular track set up my car stayed in 2nd almost the WHOLE time. Only time i shifted was from first to 2nd right after the first corner. So tranny only really matters when getting out of the hole from a dig, its slow but once you hit vtec your all good.

(Keep in mind im dying for a MT car. The Fit was originaly bought for my mom, thats why we got AT)

all good with the auto man.. I would think with auto for autox it might be easier? both hands can stay on the wheel for a lil more stability....
I"m def going to look into Auto X in the area now! hehe(great idea for the next meet!)

Totaly true

At vs MT really didnt matter at this place, one gear the whole course.
And the start timer wasnt tripped till right after the first corner, so i was already almost to second by that time.

And after every run.
Its a habit, i learned to drive on a MT, and drive a MT car very often. Almost daily.

This event was actaully hosted my a local orginization called "UFO".
Basically show up on time, pay/register attend the drivers meeting before the runs, pass car inspection and you race ready. It was really cool, and cheap. 35$ for 5 runs. Then we did 1$ fun runs before the lunch break, so i did 10 runs in all for a totall of 40$. Thats a great deal. Fun Runs are timed and all, they just dont go towards overall points standings in the series. All the runs in my vid. were my "fun runs"

SCCA is very similar, i belive its just show up and register there. Check it out. Look for a site that is local to you, and look for a schedule and some details.
