Nice. That color looks better on the GE's than the GD's IMO.

I love the side moldings. I need to get some. Today I bought the Cargo Tray. It is very nice! I bought mine at the dealership for $85.00. I mentioned that you can find them online for $75.00 + shipping so they dropped their retail price.

The NAV is sweet!

Funny you should mention that. I had a 07-08 in the parking lot near mine. The 09s Tidewater Blue looks 10 times better than the older model. The new paint is iridescent.

First time I have seen pics of 09 Fit in that color...very nice! I'm really liking the side molding. I might have to get some.

I hope you enjoy the car as much as I have enjoyed mine.

i don't know how you drive but it is totally possible.
i don't even hypermile and i get great gas mpg.
i even use cruise.
1st tank was 35.3mpg
2nd was 43.5 mpg
3rd was 40.5 mpg
all these figures were calculated manually also.
so there is very low error.
the only trick that i use is never go over 50 mph
and presto you have 40+ mpg tanks.
also don't forget not to accelerate hard.

I go about 60/65 mph constantly and sometimes accelerate hard. Still get 39/40 mpg using manual calculations...

It's been kinda hard finding aftermarket stuff. It's a new model. I DID however, have a very productive converstion with ZetzProducts on improvements to the their center console. I'm patiently waiting to see what develops out of it.

One thing that I think is useless is the factory center armrest. It's way too low to be effective. I expressed my DEEP desire to see a vertically adjustable fold away version of their center console. We shall see..

Other than that, We'll see what comes out for it. I'd like to see some MPG mods develop in the future. Maybe some computer tweaks. I bet with a little work, we could approach Prius mileages with this non hybrid gem.

I AM also currently looking for a reasonably priced sun shade. I found one but I think $35 + shipping is a bit pricey.

Thumbs up Lighting / Timer

I like your idea about the center console - I'm sure you'll keep us up-to-date.

In your quest for useful stuff for the Fit, I'd like to see a brighter light in the hatch area that is both brighter AND is on some type of timer. Usually when I am taking groceries out, both hands are full and I have to make another trip downstairs to the garage to close the hatch 'cause the light doesn't go out by itself.

Maybe some leds around the 2 cup holders so you can see where to put your drink back at night (after all, just about the entire interior is black).

Just my $0.02 worth!

The details..
423 mi the low fuel light came on
453 mi I got my 1st drop of fuel Whew!
42.4 mpg on the meter
38.0 hand calc (The REAL number)
475.9 when I got done fillin it.
12.512 gal

I know...I know... I did the math too.. often...even if you back off the 22mi - .6 gal ... I did filling the tank, I somehow got 11.9 gl in a 10.6 gl tank. Must be a loonnngg filler tube & breathin fumes!

4.4 mpg variance or a 11% diff. on the meter.
About par with what others are reporting.
But 38 is STILL a respectable number for the 1st tank! I'll TAKE it
Ok "UPDATE" ... 2nd tank data .....

435.8 miles on 11.188 gallons of 10% ethanol crap!

Hand Calculated .. Gave me 39.0 MPG! 1 mpg better than the last tank!

43.9 on the Fit's "Bullsh*t-O-meter". A +4.9 mpg variance.
But... I'm zeroing in on that elusive 40 mpg!!!

P.S. Some stations in Atlanta are still out of fuel. But it's getting easier to find (Abiet still WAYYYY overpriced!) And the lines are shorter. and...I actually got a full tank of gas! I'm beginning to see the light a the end of the tunnel. Now if they will just stop GOUGING us!!!

Those numbers in a AT truely blow my mind?
My 07 AT, struggles to get 33mixed when i try to get MPG.
39 is alot higher then even what the sticker says, i think it says something like 33 highway?

So are you a full on HyperMiler or are you just driving normal?

Hi Tool! Nah.. not a diehard hyper-miler but I will do a little pulse and glide if the hills permit it.

But I do oh 80/20 Hwy but in atlanta traffic, 60mph is a good speed to run at, instead of the hurry up and wait mentality that usually prevails on our local nascar tracks! It's ALOT more relaxing.. & efficient. Oh they usually beat me to work on my 22 mile commute, but by about 3 min on average. So why join the race?

I win at the Wallet!

I solved one of my most annoying problems with my fit today. I don't know if anyone else deals with this issue, but the headrest is constantly moving on me. I'm constantly putting it back in position. not anymore..

I wanted a way to resolve it without without permanently modifying it in anyway. I found it.

Sometimes it's the simplest solution ....

Remove the Headrest, Cut a rubberband and stick the end of it in the hole and replace the headrest. Trim to suit! The rubber holds it securely in place! WooHoo!!!!
