Heya, I ran last weekend, my clutch didn't hold in 2nd or 3rd. I got a 15.5@93mph. I started to pick up speed at the end.

I was talking to Ben, he said try taking the clutch valve off. He said it delays the clutch engage time. We'll see about that.

Good luck on 13's!!!! and post your shiatsu on the drag time slips online.

i think all hondas with drive by wire have the clutch delay valve

i knew a few ppl with AP2s that took theirs out to reduce the clutch engagement lag

i'll see if i can find the thread on s2ki so you know at least what to look for.

Pic: the Clutch delay valve is Item 4 and 5 it's located in the Slave Cylinder

Hope this helps guys.....this could possibly be a DIY if someone removes the CDV sucessfully.

Pretty good BlueCell! I just picked up a GTech Pro SS Meter and did 1 run.. I'm on my winter tires so I didn't launch and my clutch is toast.

The meter said I ran 0-60 in 6.5sec, 1/4 mile in 14.3. Now, this is the messed up part lol.. it said my car put out 112hp and 746ft lbs of torque!

I think I need to set it up better perhaps lol..

I might run again in Dec 21st if I do this Clutch valve removal. I don't get a chance at many runs, I only did one that time. (my first run too) I'll have to practice on some night runs when no one is out.

Ok, I'm a bit confused or we just don't have a delay valve. I was looking into my engine bay. I saw a clutch cylinder near the front. I was thinking that was the slave cylinder. Anyways, I took it out, disassembled it and found inside was just a spring. The rest was brake fluid and nothing else. If the one in front is the slave cylinder, then theres no delay valve in there. If that's not it, someone let me know.

The part I took out in red circle.

well i read up more on the s2ki thread and they're saying you remove the oriface and the spring & ball

but dude i don't know for sure because i don't want you to mess up your Fit
i would think that maybe the spring controls the delay but i can't be absolutely positive because i don't know anyone who knows the Fit's tranny.

here's the pic from s2ki:

EDIT: go here http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...ic=275175&st=0
for the Spring/Ball Pic on PAGE 3

maybe someone more mechanically inclined should chime in.

sorry if i wasted your time man

Oh that picture. Well I'll tell you mine didn't have a ball/spring, it was just a spring and a brown piece. The spring isn't highly compressed like the one on the s2k forum either. didnt take a pic of it because my hands were super dirty by then.

geez idk then
i really want to think there is some kind of delay valve but i'm guessing not and it's just due to the clutch slipping

we need one of those euro guys to chime in who has more exp with Fits since they've been over there longer lol
