If it came in yellow in the US, I'd have gotten that. I usually don't even like yellow cars much, but somehow, it just..."fits."
I think I would do the orange just because you would stand out more. I keep watching for everyone to stare at my car, because I think it's the prettiest thing on 4 wheels, but no one seems to care much!!! They are so ig'nant.
I can't wait to see pics of the new orange IRL.

I didn't do that well on the wash - there are a lot of crevices on the body that I didn't realize need special attention...And I didn't open the hood and get the engine rinsed off, I was pressed for time. But at least I got the road dirt off so the color could shine through! Thanks for the help on washing - this is the first dark-colored car I've had AND the only new one so far!
I saw just about all the products including "Ice" and thought about buying one of everything...Those absorb cloths are a little weird, like rubber...but they seem to do well. And Invisible Glass works well too.
The doofus at O'Reilly thought I need special wheel locks just for my car...I didn't think it was that big a deal, but maybe they don't stock them, so I will go to another parts store. I don't want to even go into a WalMart parking lot - can't park far enough out so that no one will park next to me!!
Nothing like the "get away from my car so it doesn't get dinged" paranoia!

I don't really like the look of the body side molding, but it would be a good protection for the doors, so that might have to happen. And, I want the side inserts that say "Fit" on them and the rear bumper protector thingie. Oh, and the chrome exhaust tip.
I am going to send for the 3rd brake light LED from another Freak. And, I am looking into another alarm system or the fuel gauge switch that another freak mentioned. I like the idea of a car going dead if someone takes it. I suppose LoJack is a more expensive version of that...
But most important mod of all - A white FitFreak.net sticker!

And I almost got a VBP, which would match my eyes. I saw the BBP at the dealer's on a rainy day and thought it was just navy blue, boring! Then I caught a photo on this forum, the BBP thread, and my jaw dropped! I love the mystery of paint that looks different depending on the sunlight.
But the VBP is truly lovely too. Heck, all the colors are nice and I'd drive any of them. Even warming up to the white, which has always been my least fave color for any car.

I've never seen it under fluorescent lighting! Gonna have to take it out somewhere and check it out. Thanks.

So glad that another Fit Freak girl is enjoying her car! Yeah! The Absorber is one of my favorite detailing items and they really are nice for pulling off the water after a wash. Just make sure you use really nice microfiber towels that are not scratchy. The paint on these babies are prone to swirling and I never will again take mine through the hand wash places. They really bring out the swirls with their dirty mits and grime that gets passed from one car to the next.
