damn that FIT was fast. i bet if it was running slick, it would be easily on low 12's and possibly high 11's. kudos to the guys that build that fit.

Wasnt he on slicks? DR's deff.... He had skinnies in the back.
Its not really that impressive. ITB's, K20, probably a sick tune, stripped, and high 12's.

There was a Fit with the L15 and nitrous running high 13's on street tires.

12.9 and 12.8 are still 12's but come on its really not that impressive for all the work that obviously went into that car when you could probably do better with a stock mazdaspeed 3

Not fast at all its a Fit so its super light. Plus if he guted makes it even lighter. For how much he put into that car it was slow. Dam this makes me not want to do anything to the Fit and just keep saving up for a faster car for the track. I have 5000 to spend i was going to turbo the Fit. But i think i will keep saving and just buy another used Evo for that. Well at least the FIT is the best DD out there !!!!

So this was guted does any one know the weight on the Fit?? Dam this really makes me know now the Fit is staying at what it was made for me a DD. I will just hold my 5,000 for now and just keep saving for ethier a 2003-2004 cobra and gut it.

Weight on that Fit? IDK... Its a real JDM Fit.
Mine with my heaviest set of wheels and a full tank weighed in at 2510lbs.

Sheesh. Twelve is twelve is 12.

You people are like a few too many of the STi people. Turn the wheel! That's when the fun really starts.

Amen my brotha! I'm working on her freeway manners, but you live where she lives -- in town. She's a city car at heart and she does a fine --pardon me, a masteruful -- job of it. No other contemporary comes close.

Can't agree more than that! I enjoy driving the Fit around corners more than my EM1 civic!

Yes it does handle great and i had a evo to. But this car was still not made for auto x if u ask me. It was made for a good economy car and it is great at that. But even for auto x u need some good power and i just don't see the doing that. But i love her for the great DD she is. She cost me $36 to fill up and get around 36-40mpg.
