A Perfect Fit {phototrail}

I took delivery of a brand new 2008 Fit Sport on 08/08/08. More to come!

Parked out in from of the work entrance

I think I need to paint the fog trim matte black huh? I'd rather have them in carbon fiber.

Vertical rear wiper modification

Swapped turn and reverse lights

congrats. nice how you got your car on a day youll never forget. the olympics and 8.8.8.

btw howd you make your rear wiper work like that? wouldnt it go off the car when you turn it on, or did you rewire it somehow?

and good call on the signal and reverse bulb swap. Dunno why the US fits do that.

especially without a side marker it makes turning really hazardous.

hope to see your process

I happen to stumble across it and decided to do this instead of the delete.

Give it time I guess. And, really random shit... You know why? They were both free and got me back into the swing of actually doing something with a car again. I dropped $5k for the down payment on this thing and I'm going to be a little broke for a few weeks.

You know, I just realized how the stock rear blinker/reverse lights are and that's starting to bug me. I'm going to steal your idea and switch them as well. So thanks for the idea and sorry I'm a thief.

Lookin good. The vertical wiper thing though to me makes it looks like its broken. Good move on the light switcheroo in back, I did the same thing.

After reading that you swapped the turn signal and reverse lights, I thought cool, I'm gonna do that! I figured I'd just swap the wire pairs to the opposite sockets, and then simply swap the bulbs. The wire swap was a piece-o-cake, but the bulbs won't seat in the sockets. What's up with that? There didn't seem to be any difference in the bulbs other than the amber paint on the T.S. bulb, but I guess there's just enough difference to not allow a proper fit.

So how have you other guys done your lamp swap?

I tried it this morning and I'm with this guy. How the heck do you do this?
